Marie brings a diversity of life experiences to her counseling practice. Her own familiarity with the process of cultural adaptation while living overseas has enhanced her sensitivity to client cultural and relationship challenges. She especially enjoys working with both individuals and couples to help them find creative solutions to difficult relationship issues.
Her training in alternative therapies, such as massage and Reiki, has taught her to look at the total person, body, mind and spirit, to find answers.
Marie's experience as a manager in both government and private industry adds practical knowledge to her counseling on workplace and career issues.
Educational and Professional Background:
Marie holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. She has worked with individuals, groups, couples, families, and adolescents in a private practice setting.
